Effective recycling saving lives

We are really pleased you are reading this, as hopefully it means you may have some equipment to donate to us! However, sometimes we are sent items that are of no use and these cost us to dispose of, so we have set out below some guidelines for you.

We have many years’ expertise in designing and equipping operating theatres, hospitals and clinics in the developing world. We supply equipment that is suitable to its context and its task, eg. Correct voltages, heat and humidity-resistant, robust, battery back-up wherever possible, equipped for neonates and paediatric care and elimination of single use accessories. This promotes best practice and reduces malfunctions and breakages.

We provide excellent value on all forms of surgical equipment and accessories by using smart sourcing. Through our wide network of industry partners, we can supply competitively priced new equipment, along with ex-demo and recycled equipment.

We work with a variety of healthcare providers in the UK to supply pre-owned equipment. All pre-owned equipment is fully serviced and prepared by our biomedical engineering team before being shipped, and is supplied with spares and manuals.

Do you have a Corporate Social Responsibility budget? If so, talk to us as we have many projects you could support

We specialise in making budgets stretch as far as they can, to maximise their impact on the healthcare provision. We do this using new, ex-demonstration, pre-owned equipment and occasional consumable supplies.

It is vital that all equipment that we send is suitable for the environment that it is going to in order to make a long-term and sustainable difference to the healthcare provision in Low to Middle Income Countries.
